HUNGARY

In 1993, when I had an exhibit at the Vasarely Museum in Budapest, my husband and I stayed in the city for a few weeks. At this time, I attended a convention for Hungarian artists, where I met several art historians. One of them was Lilla Szabo, who invited us to her apartment, which was located on the top floor. From her room, we could walk to the rooftop. Looking down from the height of the rooftop gave me not only a physical, but also a spiritual perspective. It made me realize that we have a choice to look at things from different perspectives.
