In my representation of time and food, which I see as essential, highly influential elements in our lives, time is abstract, food more tangible, but both are basic to existence and thematically and visually intriguing. I insist that there is beauty and danger in these subjects, and I am inspired by the visual possibilities that the notions of time and food have to offer. My paintings intend to caution: APPETITE has its dangers and TIME may or may not be on our side!
