CITY OF MONROVIA

I spent most of my life in Monrovia. I love this city where I raised my children . With my new image integration technique, it was very exciting to walk with my camera visiting the owners of many restaurants , book stores, romantic boutiques , beauty shops, movie theatre and taking photos of these buildings. In my studio, with fresh inspirations I painted the mood that I received on the day of a particular store and used the photo to collage it on the painted canvas. For several years my artwork were exhibited at Mystic Sister’s bookstore’s back room gallery in Monrovia.
